Located in Kayanza, northern Burundi, Kibingo Washing Station sits at 1,893 meters above sea level, sourcing cherries from over 1,700 smallholder farmers in the surrounding hills. These farmers are grouped into 30-member collectives, each led by a trained farm leader who acts as a liaison with the station. The station is equipped with 10 fermentation tanks, 2 soaking tanks, and 165 drying tables, enabling it to process up to 750,000 kg of cherry per day. It also promotes sustainability by producing organic fertilizer from coffee pulp waste.

This honey-processed Red Bourbon offers a cup with rich sweetness, smooth body, and bright acidity — often showcasing notes of stone fruit, honey, and floral tea.
