Product Info
Our Nyagatare Ibrik is crafted for a traditional, rich, and velvety cup. Grown in the lush hills above Lake Kivu in Rwanda’s Nyamasheke District, this Red Bourbon variety is naturally processed, resulting in a sweet, fruit-forward profile that pairs beautifully with the slow brew of ibrik (cezve).
Ibrik — also known as Turkish coffee — is one of the world’s oldest and most beloved brewing methods, deeply woven into the cultures of the Middle East, Balkans, Caucasus, and beyond.
Finely ground coffee is slowly simmered with water (and optionally sugar) in a small pot called an ibrik or cezve. The result is a thick, aromatic, and intense cup that carries centuries of culture and hospitality.
